History

Ripon House is managed by a committee appointed annually by the Ripon & Leeds Diocesan Council for Social Aid (Charity no. 226437) and Ripon & Diocesan Council for Social Concern (Company no. 3286672. Charity no. 1065423).

In pursuance of its objects, the
Council for Social Concern maintains two Approved Premises (probation & bail hostels), of which Ripon House is one.

The Committee meets monthly, with a staff member in attendance. The agenda includes discussion of findings provided by one of the members during a monthly inspection. The views of residents, as well as staff, are regularly canvassed.
