Together Women Programme

The Together Women Programme (TWP) is a new community based resource targeting female offenders and women at risk of offending. It aims to tackle the causes of crime and re-offending amongst women thereby reducing the use of custody.

Ripon House is pleased to be working in partnership with TWP to support residents whilst at the hostel and to facilitate the successful reintegration of residents into the community.

TWP provide a number of services for women in the community including:

- Advice and support on tenancy issues to gain and retain accommodation, and to avoid homelessness.
- Support to enable women to access and evidence learning and skills which will promote and enable personal development and enhance their skills in finding and retaining employment.
- Supported access for women to mental and physical health services.
- Advice and support around substance misuse.
- Debts and benefits advice, including budgeting skills.
- Creche facilities and support around parenting skills.
- Dedicated counselling sessions provided by trained counsellors.
- Emotional support including reducing isolation and promoting reintegration.
- Anger management work.
- Travel expenses reimbursed to access the centre.
